Gaetano Pesce is an architect and a designer who, in a span of more than 40 years, has conceived fabulous works in almost every continent. My favorite piece is this extra large floor lamp, the Moloch Lamp, which is 9ft tall and looks like a desk lamp.
This floor lamp was designed in 1970 and is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in NYC.
I really find this design brilliant, because Pesce simply enlarged a very common desk lamp and made an internationally recognized masterpiece.
