Sorry if I get straight to the point in the most childish way, but this is so, so cool! Have you ever seen a beautiful kitchen, with an island in the middle and over the island an ugly and bulky range hood hanging from the ceiling? This is probably one of the reasons why many ranges have the downdraft pop-up, which seems like an interesting alternative until you cook and realize that, if it works with gas, the food burns on one side of the pot (yes, I have one and hate it).
SkyLift by Faber “is a new hood concept that’s fully integrated into the ceiling and descends on the hob only when needed, with all its filtering power, efficiency of its perimeter aspiration and low consumption of its Led lights. Perfect for living spaces where the kitchen and living room come together, SkyLift’s presence is elegantly set in an area where it is important to focus on the harmony and style of furnishings. A true evolution of the hood, which stands for a new way of thinking about the use and design – and living – of the kitchen. The main objective is to offer new technological products that improve air quality and enabling professionals to think of new housing solutions outside of traditional patterns and in line with the latest requirements.”
Faber S.p.a. is an Italian company located in Fabriano, near Ancona, in the Marche region. Their specialty has been the design and production of range hoods since 1958. Today they make range hoods that are not only efficient but most of all aesthetically beautiful. Check them out!
